USC funds Rowing Club

LEGISLATIVE
Allocation to Men's Lacross Team—$4496.00 Yes, this is the same bill as last week, but the graduates changed it, so we called a conference committee, and so we need to pass it again.

Money for AIESEC—$1484 to send these guys to Oregon for a seven-day National Conference.

Chartering of the Management Consulting Club—Did you know Tech offers an MBA? Well, this org. promotes consulting conversations and networking.

Mucho Mulah to the Rowing Club—$24,898.74 for a whole lotta stuff. A new 8+ boat to take these guys to the winners circle. Also oars (16), 2 cox boxes and 2 Rowing Ergometers (for indoor rowing). The Rowing Club has proven to be a strong and ambitious organization. Best of luck to you! Contact Dana McAlhany for more info.

Duckets for the Tennis Club—$576 to cover the court time over at the Tennis Center. Anyone have any ideas for free tennis court facilities? E-mail gripes@sga.

Governmental Affairs is working on a mayoral debate over at Spellman on November 22. There are also going to be doing some redecorating. gt8351b

Joint Campus Organizations is putting together the new and improved Student Organization Handbook! They should be out Winter Quarter. They also have two bills for new charters, and a revocation of the Field Hockey Club. gt7065d

Campus Safety, Services, and Planning—Yes, we do have dial-in lines! 894-2100 allows you to get into the system for 10 minutes. gt3139a

Off Campus Development has been distributing surveys to local restraunts and bars. What about Chuckie Cheese? gt7453c

Academic Priorities is working on a survival guide for semester conversion and looking to improve academic advisement. Look for the surveys, or come pick one up.

Athletic Services has Yellow Jackets for his and her for a low price $75-125. (not sure yet) Also, what's up with Curran Street parking deck (the top part)? When will it be beautiful? gt3374b

Lyceum Series is still working on Dr. Ruth. She can answer all the questions you've ever had about stuff. gt6658a

Course Critique is constantly working for ways to help the students find the best profs. Lend us a hand, and stop by one of the meetings. gt9882b
