Driver licensing services available on campus this week
The Georgia Licenses on Wheels (G.L.O.W.), a fully equipped mobile driver licensing facility of the Georgia Department of Public Safety Division, will be on campus from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 1997. Tentative Dates for 1998 are as follows: January 16, March 17, May 19, July 28, October 13 and December 8.
The G.L.O.W. unit will be located behind the Campus Police Department at 879 Hemphill Avenue. The G.L.O.W. mobile is professionally staffed and equipped to provide a wide range of licensing and identification services (excluding road testing). Services available are Georgia Drivers License Renewals, Lost License Replacement, New Resident Licensing, Handicapped Parking Permits, and Identification Cards.
Drivers License Fees are as follows (cash only): Renewals are $15 or $8 for organ donors; ID cards are $10; Change of name or address is $10; learner's permits are $10, and veterans' licenses are free. For further information, please contact the GT Police Department at 894-2500.
