Sunday, October 19-- Come support Childkind's AIDS Walk '97. Also, the Atlanta Humane Society "Pets With Santa Photo Event" continues from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the AHS Auditorium. Volunteers are needed to help with registration, escorting, or posing as Santa Claus.
Thursday, October 23-- The MOVE Committee is sponsoring a "Celebrate the Fall Season" party with the seniors at the Northside Shepherd's Center from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Volunteers are needed to help the seniors with making crafts. Transportation will be provided.
Friday, October 24-- The Chattahoochee Nature Center is hosting a "Halloween Hike" October 17, 18, 24, and 25 from 6:30 p.m. tp 11 p.m.
Saturday, October 25-- Atlanta Community Food Bank needs volunteers to assist with parking and with guiding patrons through the "Table of Plenty" art auction from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Also, the Humane Society "Pets With Santa" event continues.
