The football team deserves praise for delivering a resounding win to an appreciative Homecoming crowd. The blue ribbons were for the Jewish students who couldn't be there. Happily, there will be no need for blue ribbons on future Homecoming dates.
A more lasting gift was given to the Tech community by E. Roe Stamps, who footed a substantial portion of the bill for our new chunk of astroturf. The SAC intramural fields officially opened this week. Be careful, it's not quite grass.
