Deadline for UJC applications extended one week
Students interested in serving on the Undergraduate Judiciary Committee can pick up applications in the SGA Office or Room 221 of the Smithgall Student Services Building. Applications are due on Monday, November 23 at 5:00 p.m. and can be submitted in the labeled box in the SGA Office. Students cannot concurrently serve in an elected or appointed Executive or Legislative branch position while being a justice.
Student directory information available via Internet
Effective Tuesday, December 1, 1998, the OIT online directory servers will be modified to permit off-campus Internet users to access student directory information. Presently, off-campus users are only permitted to access faculty and staff directory information. For students, the directory information distributed to off-campus clients will be limited to name, post office box address, and e-mail address. This information will be available by clicking the "Directory" link on the Tech home page, and by various other means, such as "whois" and "Ph."
Should a student wish to request that no personal information about be provided over the Internet, other than name, the student must go to the Registrar's Office, Room 104, Tech Tower (Lettie Pate Whitehead Building), and complete a form. Completing this form will also prevent on-campus users from viewing the information.
Does your dog need help from "Uncle Matty"?
Matthew Margolis, author of Uncle Matty's Ultimate Guide to Dog Training, will be at the Tech Bookstore on Monday, November 16 at noon. Students are invited to explain why their dog needs a session with "Uncle Matty" in 25 words or less to win a free session. Graduate and family housing survey next week
Biddison Hier has been hired by Auxiliary Services to do a market analysis of graduate/family housing student needs on the Georgia Tech campus. They will be conducting focus groups on campus on November 19 and 20. Anyone interested in giving input to the analysis should send e-mail to page.king@housing.gatech.edu.
