The Fernbank Museums offer opportunities for volunteers and interns.
Volunteers may work as greeters, exhibit guides, IMAX attendants, or museum store clerks, among other jobs. Fernbank volunteers work at least three to four hours a month and will need to purchase a uniform. They will receive complimentary admission to the museum and IMAX theater, as well as invitations to special IMAX previews. Internships are offered for fall, spring, and summer terms. Students interested in interning at the museum should attend an information session on October 16, January 16, or April 16.
