Campus life... Briefly
Tech ranks high on minority education
Black Issues in Higher Education announced that Tech's master's program for engineers is ranked No. 1 for minority students. The magazine recently announced its annual "Top 100" rankings of graduate and professional schools that graduate the most minority students.
"To accomplish our goal of educating leaders for the 21st century, we must recruit and educate students from all ethnic groups," said President Wayne Clough. "Our graduate programs have long been ranked among the best in the country. This new ranking serves to validate Georgia Tech's strategic program of continuously improving our curriculum, faculty, and our student environment."
