GTCN: Tech's own TV network

GTCN offers six channels. The TEACH channel (channel 20) airs Georgia Tech lectures (both live and prerecorded). Next is the Classic Arts Network, which plays symphonies, operas, and ballets. Channel 19 is the International Channel which airs programs from around the world, and it is by far the most popular channel GTCN offers. The NASA channel (channel 18) airs live space experiments, space shuttle launches, and other projects related to NASA. Channel 17 is the Atlanta Channel, here you can find out about current events in the city, as well as information about local bars, shops and restaurants.
Channel 16 is the TECHKNOW channel. This channel offers programming information (when/what channel programs are on) and on-campus advertisements. Any on-campus organization can advertise for free on this channel. Channel 21 is the ION Channel, and this is also a very popular channel. Channel 21 airs recent movies and various entertainment programs including Phat Videos, The Buzz, Dr. Staff, StingTime with George O'Leary, and the Burly Bear Network. Phat Videos, The Buzz, and Dr. Staff are all Georgia Tech student productions.
Phat Videos airs twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays at 7:30PM, and is an half-hour video show. Each week, the hosts, Ben Oyemade and Sarah Abde, will bring you exciting information along with six top 40 music videos. Ben and Sarah will be hanging out with recording artists and doing things around Georgia Tech/Atlanta.
The Buzz is a video news magazine which airs twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays at P.M. The Buzz, hosted by Georgia Tech students, has six different segments, news, sports, finance, politics, entertainment, and a feature. Each segment is geared towards college students.
Dr. Staff is an animated cartoon series, produced by GTCN's Digital Media Team and Video Production Team. Dr. Staff will be shown before movies or GTCN original programming.
