Women's tennis downs GSU for 13th win
The Lady Jackets tennis team won against Georgia State, 7-2, Tuesday at Bill Moore Tennis Center. Bobbi Guthrie won for the 27th time to become the all-time Tech leader in single matches won in a season. Tamara Jenkins, Autumn Richards, Christelle Ursulet, and Xenia Uy also won their single matches. The Lady Jackets are at 13-5 overall and 2-4 in the ACC. Tech plays against Virginia on Saturday and Maryland on Sunday, both at 11 a.m. at Bill Moore Tennis Center, to finish up the ACC regular season. The ACC Tournament begins next Thursday in Norcross.

Men's tennis rebounds with win over Clemson
The men's tennis team played at South Carolina on Wednesday of last week, losing by a close score of 4-3. The team then returned home, but lost to Miami, again by a final score of 4-3. Romain Coirault defeated Arpad Odry, tying the score to 3-3. But Miami won two of the three doubles matches to stop the Jackets.
Against Clemson this past Wednesday, Tech rebounded with an impressive 6-1 win. The squad won five singles matches, with wins coming from Benjamin Cassaigne, Matt Cozad, Roberto Suarez, Sergio Aguirre, and Robert Wright, all in straight sets. This put the team record at 13-11, 4-3 ACC. Next up is Florida State to conclude the ACC regular season. The ACC Tournament starts next Thursday.

Tracksters set for ACC Outdoor Championship
The men's and women's track team travel to Disney World this weekend for the ACC Outdoor Championships. Each team won four individual titles at the ACC Indoors and hopes to continue the success. The men are led by all-America David Krummenacker while the women are anchored by senior Andria King.

Cheerleading places fifth in nation
The Tech cheerleading squad competed at the National Cheerleaing Association Championships last weekend in Daytona Beach. The Jackets put on a fine team performance and finished fifth.
